It's cookbook season!

Dan's job comes with one very cool perk: Every week, he brings home new books! I've actually had to put away my kindle - just so I can make my way through the massive stack of books on my nightstand.

One of the books he brought home recently is Gizzi's Healthy Appetite and it looks fantastic. There are a few recipes in there that will likely become family staples. Dan's favorite is the Superfood Salad with salmon, quinoa, broccoli and avocado.

I have and love Jerusalem by Yotam Ottolenghi. Plenty is the first book that I never got around to borrowing from the library. The UK version has a beautifully simple design, but I think prefer the colorful American version.

Genius Recipes is the new(ish) cookbook is from the bloggers at Food 52.  It promises "100 recipes that will change the way you cook." I love the website; I want the book.
